Carolyn Chen feels her calling to leadership and life coaching in what she calls the start of life’s third quarter. She is has been an entertainment industry standout for the past 37 years. She attended NYU Film School, was one of the first female cinematographers to break barriers in Hollywood and went on to become a successful TV Commercial Director at the top of a male dominated field.
While Carolyn has an uncomplicated relationship with outward power and leadership in her professional first half, her goal as a certified integral coach is to bring access to inner power to women and people of color in entertainment and beyond. Not only to help important voices to be heard, but to help untangle what white patriarchy has embedded to silence us from within.
My Approach

Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
